Scanning a systems ports is one thing, but physically looking for them is something way more interesting. Even if the picture above is just a closeup of the switch we had in class it could be catastrophic if something like this happened in a actual office environment that is targeted by a hacker.
Travel routers are meant to provide a internet connection on the go. Either with a SIM card that ISPs give out or by tethering it to a main router. This provides convince to travelers that are out in the wild or in a foreign city.
When physically connecting a travel router and the main router using an ethernet cord you DONT need to authenticate it. Meaning the travel router can act as an Evil Twin copying the name of the main router leading to some people connecting to it inside of the correct one. Leading to them signing into a website and having their passwords stolen.
